Summer camp at Adirondack Woodcraft Camps means adventure, fun, and building skills and friendships that last forever. Campers ages 6 to 15 and Teen Leaders ages 16 and 17 thrive in a safe, non-competitive family atmosphere.
A Summer Camp Set in the Adirondacks
What better place for a summer camp than the flawless Adirondack Park? Adirondack Woodcraft Camps includes 250 acres of striking Adirondack beauty, two private lakes, the Moose River, and miles of trails in Old Forge, NY.
Woodcraft is situated on spacious fields and forests, so campers can fully embrace nature, learn valuable skills, and increase their independence and confidence. They'll also see the natural world in a whole new way as they observe a fawn walking in the woods and feel the beating heart of a frog in their hands.
Their traditional summer camp program engages in activities like instructional swimming, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, rock climbing, archery, sports, arts and crafts, and of course learning about nature and wildlife. Individual instruction is emphasized to encourage a sense of achievement and growth.
Adirondack Woodcraft Camps welcomes boys and girls ages 6 to 15, and they also offer a Teen Leadership Program for ages 16 and 17.
Carefully Chosen Camp Counselors
Adirondack Woodcraft Camps believes that great counselors grow up to be great parents, and they keep this philosophy in mind when selecting and training counselors. The counselors here adore spending time with children, know how to get them in bed with their teeth brushed, and they practice important skills like patience and humor when it comes to caring for the kids.
