The Lower Boquet River offers great fishing spots in the spring and fall for landlocked salmon. The best spring action will occur between the town of Wilsboro and Lake Champlain. Anglers can use canoes or car-top boats to troll smelt-imitation bait.

For the fall, anglers can catch landlocked salmon from shore or from boat. The fish will run upstream during these months to Wadham Falls.

Public fishing rights are scattered through the river so anglers can check DEC maps to find the exact access spots along Route 22.
