Garnet Hill Lodge in North River is a four-season, rustic Adirondack lodge overlooking the pristine Thirteenth Lake. Reminiscent of an Adirondack Great Camp, the property features comfortable accommodations, on-site dining, and outdoor activities.
Discover the Rustic Charm of Garnet Hill Lodge
Whether you love exploring the outdoors or are looking for your next Adirondack vacation destination, Garnet Hill Lodge is the place to be. Nestled on a gentle hill in a secluded area, this classic Adirondack lodge offers the perfect opportunity for couples, families, friends, and groups to reconnect and enjoy fun activities together.
The property features the Log House (main lodge with guest rooms) and the Tea House and The Birches, two cottages located in the woods a short distance from the Log House.
The Log House
Ideal for 2-5 people, the nicely appointed guest rooms in the Log House come with private baths and daily housekeeping. You can wake up to a wonderful view in a balcony room, or stay in a smaller, cozier standard room. The lodge has quiet sitting areas and a separate family room with ping pong, billiards, board games, and a big screen TV.
The Tea House and The Birches
Larger groups of 4-6 people should consider a room in the Tea House or The Birches. Both lodging properties offer spacious and modern rooms with private baths, televisions, and mini-fridges, and some also include microwaves.
In addition, The Birches has been recently renovated with a new, well-equipped boardroom that seats 16 and has a conference phone, a large screen for presentations, high speed internet and wifi, cabinets and countertops for refreshments, and a half bath. This space is perfect for meetings and company retreats at Garnet Hill.
Satisfy Your Craving for Delicious Cuisine
Every overnight stay at Garnet Hill Lodge includes a hearty breakfast in the morning, but guests and day visitors can also enjoy lunch and dinner at the on-site restaurants.
The Log House Restaurant, which was named the "Best Restaurant in the Gore Mountain Region" in the 2022 Best Of The Adirondacks awards, uses fresh, authentic ingredients to create appealing American dishes with an Adirondack twist. The dining room has a warm, intimate environment with tables by the fireplace and on the porches overlooking the lake and mountains. Reservations are required for in-house dining.
The Bobcat Bar and Grill on the second floor of the Outdoor Center is Garnet Hill's second restaurant and is open during ski season. Enjoy favorites like pizza, sandwiches, and more, along with beers and house wines.
