The Little Trout River is a great river for fly fishing in the Adirondacks.

 The Little Trout River is a great area in the Adirondacks for fly fishing. The waters contain both brook trout and brown trout. Both trout species are stocked and wild in the river. The river has spring-fed streams that make it a great choice in the summer season. 

To access the Little Trout River anglers can use Route 122. The road parrallels the river, and the best access spots are at the McManus Road and Coverytown Road Crossings.
