The journey along the Algonquin Peak Trail to Wright Peak will lead you to this 15-foot cascade, which is sometimes referred to as McIntyre Brook Falls and is sometimes unnamed.
The hike is difficult and should not be attempted by inexperienced hikers.
To access the trail, begin near the parking area at Lake Placid's Adirondack Loj. Travel along the Van Hoevenberg Trail for 0.9 miles, then continue 1.7 miles on the Algonquin Peak Trail. You can see the falls from the trail at this point.
