Oxbow Lake has great bass fishing for anglers and is located northwest of the Piseco Lake.
Largemouth bass and smallmouth bass can be caught throughout Oxbow Lake, along with pumpkinseeds and a decent number of pickerel. Largemouth bass will be near fallen trees, and smallouth bass will be along the rocky areas on the north shore. The south shore has less significant development and is sandy. There are decent numbers of pumpkinseeds and pickerel on most of the shores too.
There is an unoffical launch for anglers on the east end and a private launch (small fee) at mid-lake on the south shore.
