Split Rock Falls is a popular, picturesque drop in the Bouquet (Boquet) River.
A unique element of the falls is the presence of a plunge pool in its mid-section and at the bottom.
Check downstream for a second, smaller cascade.
To reach the falls, take Exit 30 off I-87 and travel north to the intersection of US 9 and NY 73. Stay north on Route 9 for 2.3 more miles, at which point you'll cross the river. Park in the area that's visible on your right.
