The St. Regis is a good location for anglers looking for bass and pike.
Anglers will find large populations of smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, northern pike, landlocked salmon, and lake trout. The Upper St. Regis is great for all five species and the best spot is in the northwest end which has deep water and structure.
All three of the lakes that make up the St. Regis Chain are connected by navigable channels.
Anglers can use the launch at Upper St. Regis Landing to gain access to the upper section of the lake via canoe or kayak. Anglers fishing the lower section can use the car-top launch at Keese Mill Road on Lower St. Regis Lake. There are also access spots for Black Pond and St. Regis Moutain along Keese Mill Road.
