Overview

The East Branch St. Regis River has about 8 miles of canoeable water upstream from Everton Falls.

The river has a great population of brook trout for canoeists and is a prime fishing spot for brook trout enthusiasts.

There are about 8 miles of canoeable water that are upstream from Everton Falls. The farther upstream you go, the better the fishing is. The tributaries that enter the main flow are great spots.

Anglers should use Cty. Rte. 14 (Red Tavern Road) to gain access to East Branch of the St. Regis River. After travel three miles on Rte. 14 east of the village of St. Regis Falls, look for the Nature Conservancy sign at Everton Falls Preserve.
