West Stony Creek Falls in Hamilton County is accessed by a 1.5-mile one-way hike along an old dirt road.
Although the falls are only four feet high, they are situated just downstream from a rustic, log footbridge that spans the creek and provides unique ambiance to the area.
Take Route 30N out of Northville and continue 3.2 miles to County Route 6 (Benson Road). Continue for 5.8 miles, then stay to the right onto Cramer Road when the road forks.
Follow the signs to the Northville-Placid Trail, and turn left on Godfrey Road (a dirt road). The parking area is a half-mile up on the right.
