Beautiful hues of red have coated the tips of deciduous trees and this make the season of Autumn my favorite time of the year.
The warmth of the days and the cool of the nights make for a perfect temperature merge when seeking outdoor activities. I find myself spending each and every minute available ignoring my housework and participating in all things outdoors. I have gone so far as to refusing to sit inside grading papers wishing I was all things outside. Instead, I let the seasonal air invite me out. There I could multi-task and sit in my yard enjoying the warm sunshine with a pile of papers to lazily tend to.
I find myself walking more and viewing the landscape from high above a High Peak. I also find myself canning the goods from the summer spoils into the late night. These canned goods I look forward to each and every winter for their filling of homemade jellies and jams make the winter cold a little less brutal.
Before the Autumn season hurries on by, I hope all of you get a change to enjoy its warm days and cool, crisp nights.
