About this event

Join us for the 2024 Adirondack Loon Celebration at Paul Smiths College VIC for a day filled with opportunities to learn about the natural history, ecology, and conservation of the Common Loon! There will be live music, local food vendors, a loon-calling contest, recognition of ACLC conservation and stewardship programs, and presentations by ACLC staff.

Event Highlights:

  • Keynote presentation by a special guest (TBA)
  • Presentations by the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation staff
  • Live music and food from local vendors 
  • Children's crafts, games, and activities 
  • Loon calling contest 
  • Recognition of Loon-Friendly Lakes in the Adirondacks 
  • Recognition of Lead Tackle Buy-Back retailers in the Adirondacks 
  • Raffle and silent auction
