Champlain Area Trails (CATS) is hosting the North Country's annual Grand Hike on Saturday, May 11. This year's hike will be a fabulous almost 14-mile walk through forests and fields. There will be four stops along the hike, which will have snacks, water, and portapotties.
This hike starts at the Essex Gateway Trailhead in Essex and ends in Westport. At the end of the hike, we'll have a "après hike party" featuring live music by the Headwall Band, drinks, food to purchase, an outdoor games area, and a post-hike celebration.
Hiker registration includes the post-event party. Everyone is welcome for the après hike party, which we invite the community to attend.
