About this event

The FIS Freestyle Aerials World Cup returns to the Olympic Jumping Complex in Lake Placid, NY, on January 18-19, 2025, marking its first appearance since 2019. As one of the most exciting winter sports disciplines for spectators, Aerials showcases elite athletes performing gravity-defying acrobatic flips, spins, and twists, with scores based on air, form, and landing success.

Lake Placid is one of only eight destinations for the 2024/25 FIS Aerials World Cup. The event will feature individual competitions for men and women and a mixed team event. Lake Placid has been a regular stop on the World Cup circuit since 1985, making it a must-see event. Watch Olympic gold medalist Christopher Lillis and other members of Team USA, including Winter Vinecki, as they compete against the world’s best in Lake Placid. Join us as we kick off 2025 with the Aerials World Cup in high-flying fashion!
