About this event
Join our new series focused on building skills to get outside with confidence. These lessons are based on seasonal conditions, tackling whatever weather barriers we are facing.
We will learn how to put no microspike and get comfortable walking in them while exploring Noblewood Park. As people gain confidence with the traction on icy conditions, we will make our way down to the beach for a beautiful view of Lake Champlain. This is an easy walk that will be about 2 miles.
WHAT TO BRING: This is an afternoon walk in January, so it will be cold. Make sure to bring good layers to stay warm. Additionally, you will need to bring your own microspikes, yak tracks, or whatever ice traction device you have. We can help you put them on.
DIRECTIONS: Meet by entrance to Noblewood Park, which is on the outside of Willsboro toward Essex off of Route 22.
