The 2024 Bitters & Bones Turkey Trot is ready to run, and this year we're aiming big to celebrate 10 YEARS OF TROTTING!!!
Join in the fun and dive deep to help us support two of our favorite local causes: the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry and the Saranac Lake Student Needs Fund. Great causes. Great prizes. Great Community. It doesn't get better than that!
With both a month-long virtual competition and an epic in-person race on Thanksgiving Day, there is no excuse for not participating. Whether you pound pavement, bolt down beaches, or tackle trails, all you need to do is run your feathers off this November. Cap off your month of movement on Thanksgiving morning with a festive pre-feast frolicking 5K through downtown Saranac Lake, complete with refreshments, auctions, and an amazing community of family, friends, and friends who feel like family.
If the health benefits of exercise and the satisfaction of philanthropic giving isn't enough to get you hooked, there are also prizes! The runner that banks the most bucks from sponsors and the Trotter with the most miles logged will both win a $1,000 Bitters gift card! That's two chances to win, so get your gobbler in gear and trot your tush toward glory. And be sure to call your friends, your family, and your estranged uncle Bob and encourage them to dive deep into their wallets for those sweet, sweet sponsor donations.
Last year we raised $90,000. This year, in honor of our 10th Turkey Trot year, we're aiming for $100,000!! Help us make it happen!
