Overview of Dragon’s Breath
During an argument with his MOM and DAD, ALAN is suddenly overcome by a DRAGON, whom ALAN recognizes as his own anger. ALAN chases the DRAGON into a magical realm called Clearplane — the dimension behind ALAN’s own eyes. There he meets DEWITT and SOMI, bizarre aspects of his own mind who, like MOM and DAD, offer him advice on his difficulties. But ultimately, ALAN has to confront the DRAGON on his own. Instead of slaying it, however, ALAN makes a startling discovery about the DRAGON’s true nature, and about his own power to cope. As ALAN zaps back to reality, he finds — along with his friends in the audience — that he has powerful new tools for dealing with whatever life throws at him.
