8th Annual Wilmington Whiteface Whiskey Run & Festival—Saturday, June 21, 2025
Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a unique race with a spirited twist! The Annual Wilmington Whiteface Whiskey Run & Festival takes place each year on the third Saturday in June at Preston Field in Wilmington, NY. This exciting event benefits the Wilmington Historical Society’s Building Fund and offers both a 5K and 10K race, plus a virtual race option for those who want to participate from afar.
After the race, stick around for the Whiskey Run Festival, a free, family-friendly event featuring whiskey tastings, food, live entertainment, historical re-enactments, craft vendors, raffles, and more. Whether you're racing or just there for the fun, this community celebration is not to be missed!
Activities at the Wilmington Whiteface Whiskey Run Festival include:
- Whiskey tastings & Food, 11 am-4pm, Preston Festival Field
- 1812 Battle of Plattsburgh re-enactors in period clothing with tents & demos, 11 am-4pm, Preston Festival Field
- Battle of Plattsburgh Military ceremony in remembrance of local War of 1812 soldiers, 12:30pm, Preston Festival Field
- Music 1pm-4pm
- Raffles, history display, craft vendors, craft demonstrators, and more… all day at Preston Festival Field, 11am-4pm.
- Raffle drawings 3:30 pm
