Quietly nestled on the southwestern edge of the Adirondacks is the town of Stratford in Fulton County. Roughly half of the town is comprised of state-owned land.With pristine air and a spectacular natural environment, visitors to the Stratford area won't be disappointed with the number of outdoor activities to choose from.

Bodies of water located within the town include Ayers Lake and Ayers Creek, Pleasant Lake and Spectacle Lake. East Canada Creek runs along Stratford's border and provides ample opportunities for canoeing and kayaking. Anglers will find plenty of places to drop a line.
Hamlets located within the town include Bliss Corner, named after one of the first settlers to the area, Emmonsburg, Knappville, Stewart Landing and Strattford.
Snowmobiling is popular in winter, with over 150 miles of groomed snowmobile trails available in Fulton County.
