Located at Gore Mountain, Becks Tavern offers Bavarian-inspired fare in a cozy atmosphere. Warm up by one of their outdoor fire pits as you enjoy a schnitzel or bratwurst with a craft beer. Pictured above is one of their yurts, which often features live music.

"Fun local bar with a German-inspired menu and big beer and cocktail selection. You can book lodging right across the parking lot, and not have to worry about driving after an evening of apres fun," said one patron.

Logan's Bar & Grill

The Hungry Trout & HT Tavern

The Hungry Trout (above on the left) and HT Tavern (above on the right) are the closest full-service restaurants to Whiteface. While The Hungry Trout serves refined dishes like Pork Osso Bucco and Duck A L'Orange, the HT Tavern offers casual pub grub like burgers, sandwiches, and mac and cheese.

"Great service! Great food! Can't beat it. Plus a lot of high-end meat and poultry dishes that are affordable!" said one reviewer. 

Big Slide Brewery & Public House

This Lake Placid hotspot is great for an apres-ski meal with its unique craft beers and creative menu. The wood-fired pizzas and 10 choices of house beers on tap are an irresistible way to end a ski day at the Big Slide Brewery. They're also known for their great vegan options!

"Truly one of the best food experiences my husband and I have had in a long time," said one visitor.

Smoke Signals is a must-visit restaurant for barbecue lovers! Their smoky, tender ribs and brisket paired with signature sides like mac and cheese or cornbread make for a pleasurable hot meal after a day out in the cold.

"The food here is phenomenal. Some of the best barbecue I have ever had, and the brisket is probably the best," said one patron.

The Log Jam Restaurant

The Log Jam Restaurant in Lake George is a favorite of visitors and locals. The warm, rustic atmosphere exudes an Adirondack log cabin feel, and the food is perfectly prepared and delicious, from the prime rib to the extensive salad bar.

"Love this place - meet up here all the time with friends. I get the bubbly shrimp and others get the salad bar or a full meal. It's nice here year-round, log cabin feel, so very homey and cozy," said one visitor.

"Food was outstanding, and the service was great, and the atmosphere very nice," said one reviewer.

Davidson Brothers Brewpub

Davidson Brothers Brewery is a Glens Falls staple known for its craft beers and pub fare. The menu features a few different kinds of mac and cheese, several options for burgers, a variety of quesadillas, plus wings, sandwiches, and more.
